KARA CERMAK
PRESIDENT AND PORTFOLIO MANAGING AGENT















Kara Cermak is married and and has two teenage daughters.   She spends her time either managing Rowell, one of the properties within her portfolio, or spends time with her friends and family.   Her husband, Jeff, is a carpenter contractor and recently completed an addition on their house, himself.  Her daughters, Abbey and Gillian, attend school in Palatine and are amazing young women that she is proud to be raising.  She is lucky enough to work with her business partner and friend, Deborah Warda, every day, and to be surrounded by the most amazing staff in the industry.  Kara has just one sister, and spends much time with Amy and her beautiful family.  Her mother has been involved with the management industry for over 35 years, trained Kara, and spends an immense amount of time with her daughters, son-in-laws and grand-children.  She believes that providing for others and taking the focus off oneself is the secret to continued success and happiness and along those lines, feels strongly about women's issues.  She is a founding member of Celebrating All That Is Feminine which held a fundraiser in February, donating the proceeds to three battered women's shelters.  Pictured above are the women that helped make that happen, as well as her husband and daughters.
 
JORDAN WARDA
ASSISTANT MANAGING AGENT

 

Jordan Warda joined the Rowell team in March of 2005. She worked part-time while going to college at Columbia of Missouri for her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation in May of 2009, Jordan was offered the position of Assistant Managing Agent which she happily accepted. Having worked for Rowell for 4 plus years part-time, Jordan was very familiar with the processes of Rowell, so the position suit her well. Currently, she is the Assistant on six of Rowell’s accounts, processes all incoming invoices for the accounting department, and updates contractor’s certificates of insurance, amongst other things. In the near future, she hopes to become more involved by taking on a few more accounts which she would assistant on.

Jordan and her fiancé recently bought a house in Elgin and plan on getting married mid-2011. They are enjoying their new home with their dog Zac and are excited on what the future will bring. 

TERRY VISTINE  
MANAGING AGENT

Terry Vistine took an Assistant Managing Agent position in July of 2007 with Rowell, Inc.  An opportunity recently came along to promote Terry to a Managing Agent.  She eagerly decided she would accept the position and move up with in the company.  She is currently taking classes to receive her CMCA designation.  With the acceptance of this position, Terry will be on-site, as the property manager, two days a week, for Stillwater in Naperville.  She will also be managing an additional account and will continue to assist on other properties.Terry came to Rowell, Inc with a customer service background and has proven to enhance her skills even more while working at Rowell. 

Terry and her significant other, have recently bought a house and enjoy making memories in it with their son, Edward.  Being a mom has become the highlight of Terry’s life.
